Within our large color palette, you will find many that you cannot get anywhere else in the US. We carefully crafted our palette to provide the colors makers need for projects that are themed by your favorite sports team, school, holiday, or national flag.
What can you expect? Yarn will arrive as pictured but with our label and wrapped tightly in plastic to protect the yarn and reduce shipping costs. This is previously compressed yarn, sections of each skein were flattened. Fluffing it will bring it back to life. How does one fluff yarn? Our favorite method is to run the yarn through a wire whisk a couple of times. However, you can use your fingers or the back of a pair of scissors too.
Be sure to get enough for your projects, quantity is limited and once they are gone, they are gone. When comparing with other brands, be sure to compare cost per yard.

How many skeins do you need?
Everybody’s tension is a little different, so the number of skeins can vary. These estimates are for hand-knitting. You can hand crochet, (or use a hook) but it takes more yarn.
Blanket
25 in. x 30 in. use 3-4
30 in. X 50 in. use 5-6 skeins
40 in. x 60 in. use 8-9
50 in. x 60 in. use 11-12 skeins

Love this yarn! It’s a notch above any other chunky yarn I’ve used. The texture alone makes it superior. But it also doesn’t gray. I made this blanket for my husband. Rock Chalk Jayhawk! Go KU!

The colors are great and always packaged exceptionally well. The admins that handle the orders are very efficient. I had an order last summer that i had received with some bad yarn(green) and replaced it immediately. Then told me to keep the bad yarn. I just tossed the bad skeins but this company will be my go to for other colors i can't buy physically. I have made many rainbow blankets using this yarn and it has never failed to impress!
Yarn is soft and colors are nice. Yarn is Extremely inconsistent to the point of half chenille on one side and thread on the other after fluffing. Some parts super fluffy and beautiful then a few feet later thin and nothing. Had one skein that has three knots in it and not even 1/4 way into the yarn and had stains on it. like scraps were used to create a full skein. So far not very happy. That being said it seems like the flaws are hidden once used in the blanket. We will see I have only just started my first blanket and only a 1/4 done. I really don’t understand why you compress the heck out of the yarn. There is no need as other companies send in a box. Only reason I have not returned is you have the colors I need for college colors.
Spirit yarn is my “go to” for color’s galore! And the price is great!
